OBITUARY Christopher J. Raimo April 17, 1955 – July 21, 2018 Christopher J. Raimo, 63, of Marblehead, died unexpectedly on July 21, 2018. He was the son of the late John C. and Henrietta (McGhee) Raimo. Chris attended Star of the Sea Grammar School, Marblehead High School, and was a graduate of Mansfield Academy.

He retired in 2016 from Massachusetts General Hospital where he managed the dermatology department. Chris was a lifelong resident of Marblehead who enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He is survived by his nephews, John M. Raimo of Marblehead, and Nolan P. Raimo of Austin, TX; his sister-in-law, Paulette Raimo of Marblehead; and his aunts, Martha McGhee of Peabody, and Marion McGhee of Salem.

Chris is also survived by his longtime partner, Joseph Joyce of E. Hampstead, NH; and many good friends including Shelly Kamin of Marblehead. He was predeceased by his twin brother, Charles A. Raimo. Visiting hours will be held at Eustis and Cornell of Marblehead, 142 Elm Street, on Monday, July 30 from 4-7PM.

A private graveside service will be held in Waterside Cemetery, Marblehead. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Christopher’s name to All Care VNA and Hospice Development Office, 210 Market Street, Lynn, MA 01901.
