Christopher William Lord, age 30, of Hagerstown, died unexpectedly Friday, September 21, 2018 in Falling Waters, WV. Born July 9, 1988 in Baltimore, he was the son of William Paul Lord of Hagerstown and Cheryl Thompson Horman of Martinsburg, WV. Christopher was a member of the Church of the Brethren faith.

Riley, KS, sister, Victoria Danielle Lewis and husband Tyler of Ft. Bragg, NC; 2 nephews, Corey Jr. and Dominic Horman; maternal grandmother, Maryann Miller of Union Bridge and paternal grandfather, Charles M. Lord of Ijamsville. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, September 28 at Bush Creek Church of the Brethren, 4821A Green Valley Rd.

, Monrovia, with Revs. Leo and Melissa Barnes, church pastors, officiating. Interment will follow in Pleasant Hill Cemetery, adjacent to the church.

The family will receive friends at Hartzler Funeral Home-Libertytown, 11802 Liberty Rd. , Frederick, 6-8 p.m. Thursday, September 27 and on Friday at the church from 10:00 a.m. until time of service.
