Obituary for Cindy Lee Miller Cindy Lee Miller, 71, of Mint Hill, NC, died Monday, April 23, 2018, at the Novant Medical Center in Matthews, NC. Cindy was born in Springfield, Ohio, on February 26, 1947, the daughter of Elwood “Hoagy” and Helen Williams Carmichael. She grew up there and graduated from Northwestern High School.

On May 16, 1986, she married Harold Miller in Sarasota, Florida. In July 2006, they moved to Charlotte. Cindy was a big fan of golf and loved playing the game.

She is survived by her husband, Harold, of Mint Hill; a daughter Jenny Ward of Halls, TN; three grandchildren: Holly, Audrey and Blake; a sister Beverly Miller of Sarasota, FL. She is further survived by numerous other family and friends. Cindy was preceded in death by her parents.

Cindy’s family has given the family of Lowe-Neddo Funeral Home the privilege of caring for them. A service to celebrate the life, love and blessing of Cindy will be held at 2 pm on Thursday, April 26, 2018, at the funeral home, 4715 Margaret Wallace Road, Matthews, NC 28105. The family will receive friends following the services and all services will conclude at the funeral home.
