Obituary for James “Lee” Stiles James “Lee” Stiles, 47, of Charlotte, passed away on Monday, April 9, 2018. Lee was the only child of Mrs. Brooks Parham Stiles and James Wesley Stiles, he grew up and lived most of his life in Charlotte. Lee did his undergraduate work at University of North Carolina at Charlotte and obtained his Master’s in Philosophy at Claremont University in California.

Lee was a Renaissance Man in the truest sense of the term. He was a man of the arts, a lover of music and books, and was extraordinarily well read. He was a talented guitarist who enjoyed playing as well as listening to many types of music.

He was a beloved son, a loyal friend, and a gifted writer. He will be remembered for his compassion, his wit and his unwavering moral compass. Lee leaves behind a small circle of friends and extended family that will forever recall his gift of storytelling and his tender heart.
