Clarence Allen Oglethorpe age 72 of El Dorado passed away Saturday, February 23, 2019 at his home. Clarence was born on February 2, 1947 in Ferriday, LA to the late Myrtle Marie Sant Oglethorpe and Clarence Bernard Oglethorpe. Clarence was a U.S. Navy veteran and a former Electric Motor Mechanic.

He enjoyed playing all sorts of games on the computer and especially loved his weekly meetings to play poker with his friends. Clarence was preceded in death by his parents and by three sisters. Survivors include; his wife of 41 years, Elaine Oglethorpe of El Dorado; two daughters, Kristy Crimm and husband John of Smackover, and Monica Barker of El Dorado; nine grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

Visitation with the family will be from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm on Tuesday, February 26, 2019 at Bailey Funeral Home. Cremation services will follow, under the direction of Bailey Funeral Home.
