Martha McLelland Johnson Taylor, AR Funeral services for Mrs. Martha McLelland Johnson, age 56, will be held at 2:00 pm, Tuesday, February 19, 2019, at the Bailey Funeral Home Chapel, Springhill, LA with Rev. Gladney Hunt officiating. Interment will follow in Spring Branch Cemetery, Taylor, AR under the direction of Bailey Funeral Home, Springhill, LA.

Visitation will be held Monday, February 18, 2019, from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Bailey Funeral Home. Mrs. Johnson was born on January 30, 1963 to Billy William and Margaret Marie Wyrick McLelland in Camden, AR and passed away on Saturday, February 16, 2019 in Taylor, AR. She attended Spring Branch Baptist Church and was a registered nurse for 26 years.

She worked in ICU in numerous hospitals and worked the past six years for Southern Care Hospice. She loved working, her patients, spending time with her family and grandchildren. She is survived by her husband, Lonnie Gene Johnson of Taylor, AR; son, Jeromy Johnson and wife, Hollie of Taylor, AR; daughter, Stephanie Johnson and fiance’, David Brown of Taylor, AR; five grandchildren, Jessica Dobbins, Cannon Johnson, Lelland Johnson, Hunter Salyards, Leah Brown; four sisters, Lamoise McLelland, Brenda McAnn and husband, Brett, Margaret McKenzie and husband, Billy, Joyce Howell and husband, Glen; two brothers, Bubba McLelland and wife, Mindy, Walter McLelland; sister-in-law, Mary McLelland; special friend, Kathy Dean; father-in-law, Montell Johnson; brother-in-law, Ronnie Johnson and wife, Janet and a host of nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Johnson was preceded in death by her parents, son, Jason Johnson, brother, Olan McLelland, sister, Aline King, mother-in-law, Cortez Johnson, and brother-in-law, Monty Johnson.
