Mrs. Hodges was born on October 2, 1950 to Auvelle and Mildred O’Rear Marlar in Magnolia, AR and passed away on Thursday, March 28, 2019 at her home in Shongaloo, LA. She was a professional horse trainer, a heavy equipment operator, and a correctional officer at Wade Correctional.

She enjoyed training horses and dogs. She is survived by her husband, Mickey Vann Hodges, Sr. of Shongaloo, LA; one daughter, Ginna Kay Alford and husband, Harlon of Lewisville, AR; two step-daughters,Brandee L. Gray of Bryant, AR, Melissa D. Hodges of Texarkana, TX. ; one step-son, Mickey V. Hodges, Jr. of Texarkana, TX; six step-grandchildren, Blakelee, Bryan, Baylor, Baker, Blair Jane, and Colton; and a great-grandson, Andrew.
