Obituary for Clayton Stone Clayton Donald Stone Clayton Donald Stone, 56, passed away peacefully on July 26, 2018. He was born in Toledo on October 3, 1961. Clay attended Woodward High School.

He was blessed with two daughters in 1993 and 1998. He married the love of his life in 2004 and became a stepdad as well. Clay worked for 15 years at Eclipse Exothermics as a welder.

He was ordained as a minister through Laborers of Christ which is based in Chicago, IL in 2012. Clay served at the Salvation Army where he taught a Reformers class, did Bible study, and encouraged every man he could. He was very involved with the Mountaintop Great Banquet of Toledo.

He also was also part of Kairos, which was a prison ministry and he ministered to young men at the Juvenile Correctional Center. Left to cherish Clay’s memory is his wife of 14 years, Debbie VanDusen Stone; brother, Anthony (Ginnene) Stone; daughters, Sabrina Stone (Keith Murphy), Desiree Stone, and Heather (Nicholas) Spinelli; son, Charlie Whitenack; 3 grandchildren; and brother-in-law, Mark Fowler; best friend of 52 years, Guy (Denise) Pitzen; nieces and nephews; and many friends from “the old neighborhood”. He was preceded in death by his parents, Donald and Frances Stone; sister Linda Fowler; brother, Mark Milltello, and many close friends from “the old neighborhood”.

Visitation will be held from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Monday, July 30, 2018 at Bersticker-Scott Funeral Home, 3453 Heatherdowns Blvd. , Toledo, OH 43614. Funeral Service will take place at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, July 31, 2018 in the funeral home.
