Obituary for Connie Ann Nowakowski Connie Nowakowski, 88, of Calumet City and Thompsonville, IL passed away on July 18, 2018. She is survived by her husband John; children: Pam (Mike) Hall of Zion, IL; John Randall (Candis) Nowakowski of Calumet City, IL; Terri (Mike) Dean of Crest Hill, IL; 4 grandchildren: April Degani, Robert Nowakowski, John Joseph Nowakowski, Carrie (Ankit) Srivastava; and 2 great grandchildren: Cody Nowakowski, Mariah Williamson. Connie was preceded in death by her parents: Claude and Alice Comer.

Connie and John shared 67 years of marriage. Connie was a member of First Baptist Church of Hammond, Indiana since 1952, and also a member of Faith Baptist Church of Benton, Illinois. Connie did accounting for Comfort Heating and Air Conditioning that was started by her husband, John, and operated for 52 years.

Connie sewed as a hobby, loved to bird watch, and was an excellent cook. A visitation will be on Monday, July 23, 2018 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Memory Lane Funeral Home, 6305 W. Lincoln Highway (US 30), Crown Point, IN. The funeral service will be on Tuesday, July 24, at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home.
