Connie Rae Younce March 01, 1945 – February 13, 2019 Share this obituary Sign Guestbook| Send Private Condolences Connie Rae Vogt Younce, 73, Elizabethton, passed away Wednesday, February 13, 2019 in the Sycamore Shoals Hospital. Born March 1, 1945 in Towanda, Pennsylvania, she was the daughter of the late Edward Carl & Frances Goldie Tyler Vogt. She had lived in Elizabethton for 40 years.

She was a graduate of Glen Burnie Senior High, Glen Burnie, Maryland. Connie was a beautician for several years in Elizabethton. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband; Bernard Olin “Sonny” Younce, January 26, 2019, by a son: Gary Blackwell, Jr. and a nephew Adam Vogt.

Survivors include her Grandchildren: Harley Blackwell, Telford, Tenn and Damon Blackwell, Elizabethton. Her Great Grandchildren: Naomi Blackwell, Ivan Blackwell and Caidence Blackwell. Two Step-Sons: Gene Younce, Elizabethton and Richard Younce, Chase City, Virginia.

Two Brothers: David Vogt, Lakeland, Florida and Joe Vogt, Elizabethton. Funeral Services will be conducted at 4 p.m. Sunday, February 17, 2019 in the Lighthouse of Jesus, Highway 19 E, and Elizabethton with Pastor Bill Younce officiating. The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday in the Lighthouse for Jesus.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in memory of Connie to the Lighthouse for Jesus Church, 125 Meadow Lane, Elizabethton, Tenn. 37643. Condolences may be sent to the family at our web-site www.
