Constance “Connie” Kennedy, 68, passed away suddenly Tuesday surrounded by her loving family. Born in Stafford Springs, CT, the daughter of the late Charles and Dorothy (DeHula) Hale. She was a communicant of St Thomas Church.

Connie worked at various restaurants, including Tomasso’s and American Classics but her favorite job was working at the St Thomas Rectory. Connie was a member of the West Springfield Parade Committee, which she thoroughly enjoyed and was also the proud recipient of the Jinks Powers Award. Connie was a very loving, caring and happy person.

For over 20 years she loved to go on vacation in February with her family to Montserrat Island in the British West Indies. Connie leaves her loving husband of 44 years, Brian M Kennedy, her beloved son, Joseph of West Springfield and the late Brian Kennedy Jr who passed in 2017. She also leaves her loving cousins and in-laws, as well as many good friends.

She is sadly missed by all that knew her. Calling hours for Connie will be held Wednesday 9am-11am at the TOOMEY-O’BRIEN Funeral Home, 1043 Westfield St., West Springfield followed by a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 11:30am at St Thomas the Apostle Church. Burial will follow at the St. Thomas Cemetery.
