Richard J. Fulvi, 73, passed away July 24, 2018. He was born in Springfield on March 31, 1945 to the late Sylvio and Florence Fulvi and grew up in Agawam before moving to West Springfield in 1976. He owned the former Fulvi Radiator & Welding in Chicopee.

Richard was in the US Air National Guard. After his retirement, he taught welding at Easthampton High School and worked for Hulmes Transportation. He enjoyed going to the movies and loved fishing and working on old cars.

But most of all, he loved spending time with his granddaughters. Richard leaves his loving wife Carole E. (Brown), his daughter Joyce T. Manchino and her husband Steven of W. Spfld. , his son Richard P. Fulvi also of W. Spfld, his granddaughters; Christina and Samantha, his uncle Ado Fulvi and cousins Karen and Glorie and his animals Popcorn and Millie.

A Liturgy of Christian Burial will be held SAT 10 AM in St. Thomas Church, 47 Pine St., W. Spfld. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family. Calling Hours will be held FRIDAY from 4 to 7 PM at TOOMEY-O’BRIEN FUNERAL HOME, 1043 WESTFIELD ST.
