Cory’s Obituary Captain Cory Patrick Waite, USAF, 29, of San Antonio, Texas, passed away on Monday, February 4, 2019 in the Brooke Army Medical Center, Fort Sam Houston, Texas. Capt. Waite was born January 1, 1990 in Fort Ord, California, son of Stephen J. Waite and Kathleen M. Bowen Waite.

He received his commission in the Air Force from the ROTC Unit at the University of Central Florida in August 2012. He was currently serving with the 502d Operation Support Squadron, Joint Base San Antonio. Surviving are his wife, Kaitlyn M. Ceuninck Waite of San Antonio, TX; parents, Stephen and Kathleen Waite of Lake Frederick, VA; sister, Shannon M. Waite; and brothers, Stephen J. “Jay” Waite, and Matthew C. Waite.

He will be greatly missed by his many close relatives, dear friends and his beloved pets Toothless, Fabio and Archer. A memorial mass will be held 1:30 P. M. Saturday, February 23, 2019 at St. Bridget of Ireland Catholic Church, Berryville, VA with Father Stephen Vaccaro officiating. Reception will follow the mass at the adjacent parish hall.

Burial will be held at a later date in Arlington National Cemetery, Arlington, VA. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Give an Hour, PO Box, 5918 Bethesda, MD 20824 or Pets for Vets, Inc., PO Box 10860, Wilmington, NC 28404.
