Harold’s Obituary Harold Robert Longerbeam, 78, of Berryville, Virginia, died Saturday, February 2, 2019 in the Winchester Medical Center. Mr. Longerbeam was born March 20, 1940 in Summit Point, West Virginia, the son of the late Charles Clifton Longerbeam and Roberta Royston Longerbeam. He was a Navy veteran.

He was a member of the VFW and the American Legion. Surviving are his wife, Rosalind Fuller Longerbeam and two sons, Nick Longerbeam of Rutherfordton, NC and Neil Longerbeam and his wife, Kathryn, of Irma, SC; four grandchildren, Caroline, Nicholas II, Brady, and Brady Longerbeam; a brother, Bill Longerbeam of Charles Town, WV; a sister, Bell Leigh of Hamilton, VA; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Andrew, Bentley, David, Shelby, Ray, and Gary Longerbeam and sisters, Dorothy Vann and Lorraine Eugley.

A memorial service will be held 11:00 A. M. Thursday, February 7, 2019 at Enders & Shirley Funeral Home Chapel, Berryville with Rev. Jim Smith officiating. Military honors will be provided by the Clarke County Honor Guard.

Burial will be private. The family will receive friends 6:00 – 8:00 P. M. Wednesday evening at the funeral home.
