Coy Pedigo Tatum, 78, of Patrick Springs, VA, died on Friday, August 31, 2018 at Blue Ridge Therapy Connection in Stuart, VA. He was born on February 12, 1940 to the late Lois Ross Tatum and Walter Lee Tatum. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by twin brother, Roy Tatum.

He was a member of Patrick Springs Christian Church in Patrick Springs, VA and worked at Dupont for 30 Years before retiring. He served his country in the United States Army. Surviving are his… Read More » wife, Cornelia “Midge” Tatum of the home, one daughter; Kerrigon Newsome and husband Shannon of Reidsville, NC, one son; Jeffrey Tatum and wife Kristin of King, NC, one sister; Alice Price of Stuart, VA, three brothers; Frank Tatum of Fairborn, OH, Daniel Tatum of Collinsville, VA, Wayne Tatum of Stuart, VA, four grandchildren; Jessica Warner and husband Robert of Clemmons, NC, Ashley Tatum of Winston-Salem, NC, Wyatt Newsome of Reidsville, NC, Jayden Tatum of King, NC and two great-grandchildren; Sinclaire Warner and Barret Warner both of Clemmons, NC.

The funeral will be held at 1:00 pm on Monday September 3, 2018 at Patrick Springs Christian Church with Minister Shannon Newsome and Minister Walter Thornton officiating. Burial will be at Patrick Memorial Gardens with military rites by Patrick County Veterans Memorial Honor Guard. The family will receive friends on Sunday September 2, 2018 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Patrick Springs Christian Church and other times at the home.
