Jessie Lee Fitzgerald, Jr., 57, of Blairs, Va. , passed away on Sunday, October 14, 2018, at Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital. He was born August 4, 1961, in Pittsylvania County, Va.

to Jessie Lee Fitzgerald, Sr. and the late Willie Mae Barksdale Fitzgerald. Mr. Fitzgerald enjoyed his work detailing cars. In addition to his father, Mr. Fitzgerald is survived by his son Santeria Jessie Fitzgerald of Charlotte, N.C.; his sisters, Barbara Witcher (Larry) and Pamela Stamps (John); brothers,… Read More » Ricky Fitzgerald (Yvonne) and Corey Fitzgerald; and brother-in-law, Ricky Stone, all of Blairs, Va; as well as two grandchildren.

In addition to his mother, Mr. Fitzgerald was predeceased by his sisters, Nancy Stone and Joyce Abel; and brother-in-law, Doug Abel. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, October 20, 2018, at White Oak Grove Missionary Baptist Church, Dry Fork, Va. with Pastor Leroy Thomas officiating.

Interment will follow at Greater Triumph Church Cemetery, Chatham, Va. The family will receive friends from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 20, at the church prior to the service, and at other times at the residence of his sister, Pamela Stamps, 2617 Hunters Lane, Blairs, VA 24527.
