Patricia Ann Ramey, 80, of Bassett, VA passed away on Friday, October 5, 2018. She was born on September 9, 1938 to the late John G. Ramey and Bertha Mae Hopkins Ramey. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Ramona Sue Myers.

Mrs. Ramey is survived by her daughters, Teresa Amos Smith of Rocky Mount, VA and Pamela Faye Thornhill of Rocky Mount, VA; sister, Judith Bishop of Collinsville, VA; brothers, David Ramey of Patrick Springs, VA and Michael Ramey of… Read More » Fieldale, VA; grandchildren, Christopher Kalen Amos, Britney Renea Amos, and Tomi Jo “TJ” Thornhill; and great-grandchildren, Jayden Elaine Amos, Ashlynn Taylor Amos, and Reagan Jackson Amos. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 9, 2018 at Faith Fellowship of Bassett with Pastor Freddie Bonds officiating. Norris Funeral Services, Inc. and Crematory of Martinsville, VA is serving the Ramey family.
