Jennifer Bjarnesen Mitchell, age 60 of Danville VA, went to be with her Lord and Savior Thursday, October 11, 2018 in Danville, VA. She was born November 22, 1957 in Michigan to the late Walter Bjarnesen and the late Mary Anne Beatson Bjarnesen. Jennifer was a very hard and dedicated worker in all her jobs, she realized even small tasks at work impacted others.

Jennifer is survived by her former husband, Tommy Mitchell; a sister, Debbie Thompson (Anthony) of Wake Forest, NC; a brother, Richard Bjarnesen (Lisa) of Columbia, SC; her boyfriend, John Turner; her little daughter was her cat, “Little Bit”.

In addition to her parents she was predeceased by her son, David Mitchell. A memorial service will be held 1:00 p.m., Saturday, October 20, 2018 at The Way Ministry, 313 Songbird Lane, Danville, VA 24540 with Pastor Teresa Hawker officiating. The family will receive friends after the service at the church.
