William Lynn Tanksley, 53, of Danville, Va. , passed away on Thursday, October 11, 2018. He was born October 14, 1964, in Danville to William Edward Tanksley and the late Gloria Shumate Tanksley.

Mr. Tanksley was employed for years at the offices of CIT, Danville. More recently, he was working with Dollar General. Mr. Tanksley was an avid NASCAR fan, and loved his cat “Kallie”.
