Obituary for Daniel “Frankie” Frye Jr. Daniel F. “Frankie” Frye, Jr., 51, husband of Melissa “Baye” Welch Frye, passed away Tuesday, September 25, 2018, at McLeod Regional Medical Center in Florence. Born December 14, 1966, in Sumter, he was a son of Dessie R. Frye and the late Daniel F. Frye, Sr He was a member of Christian Tabernacle P.H. Church and was employed by Sumter Machinery for 33 years.

Survivors include his wife of 27 years; three children, Taylor Frye (Cassidy), Morgan Frye, and Trent Frye all of Sumter; a granddaughter, Adeline Frye; a brother, Eric Frye (Amber) of Sumter; a sister, Wendy Holladay (Paul) of Sumter; and a number of nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 11 A.M. Friday in the Elmore-Cannon-Stephens Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. Tony B. Porter officiating.

Burial will be in the Christian Tabernacle P.H. Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 P.M. Thursday at Elmore-Cannon-Stephens Funeral Home and other times at the home of his mother, 3611 Susan St. Memorials may be made to Christian Tabernacle P.H. Church, 1018 Highway 15 South, Sumter, SC 29154. Elmore-Cannon-Stephens Funeral Home and Crematorium of Sumter is in charge of the arrangements.
