FREEDOM TOWNSHIP – MANTUA Daniel I. Norris, 49 years of age, passed away Saturday April 28, 2018 at UH-Portage Medical Center in Ravenna, Ohio. Born in Beckley, West Virginia on November 28, 1968, he was the son of John W. and Edra (Ogden) Norris. A lifetime Portage County resident, Daniel formerly resided in the Kent and Brimfield, moving to the Mantua-Freedom area the past 4 years.

He was a graduate of Southeast High School, and had been employed as a machine operator at Schneller since 2007. Daniel enjoyed working on his jeep and using his skills at electronic games and computers, and will be fondly be remembered as a man who truly loved all animals, and was always there to help his friends whenever needed. Daniel will be sadly missed by his beloved mother Edra Meadows of Freedom Twp.

; his brothers Joey Dean Meadows of Lake Milton, Danny Ray Meadows of Palmyra, Kenneth W. Meadows of Warren and Kevin W. Meadows of Deerfield; his longtime companion Marcia Messer of Kent and many other loving family and friends. He was preceded in death by his step-father Dean Meadows in 2017. Calling hours will be Wednesday May 2, 2018 from 5:00 P.M.-7:00 P.M. at the Green Family Funeral Home & Crematory Service, 4668 Pioneer Trail at the corner of St. Rt.
