AUBURN TWP. Samuel (Sam) Sotera age 95, passed away July 13, 2018. Loving husband of the late Frances (nee; Hoffman), dear father of Diana Fill (Robert), Dennis (Donna), Darryl (Alaine), dear grandfather of Amy Fill (Mike Hill), Craig (Dawn), Robert Fill (Marie), Darrin; Dana Marason (Tony), Curt (Adrienne) loving great-grandfather of Jessica Marason; Sylvia and Mason Fill; Mitchell and Troy Sotera; Mya and Rhea Sotera; Kate Sotera.

Brother of Jean Grant. Many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his parents Rocco and Louise Sotera, brother Clarence J. Sotera.

Proudly served in the US Army during WWII, retired from the Kenston School District, and was one of the first members of the Auburn Township Fire Department. Private services at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donation can be made to the Auburn Fire Department 10950 Washington St, Auburn Township, OH 44023, or Crossroads Hospice & Palliative Care, 9775 Rockside Road, Suite 270, Valley View.
