Daniel’s Obituary Daniel R. Notaro, 91, of Nazareth, PA, passed away on Monday, March 25, 2019 in Lehigh Valley Hospital, Cedar Crest. Daniel was born in West Easton, PA, a son of the late Peter and Catherine (Paone) Notaro. Daniel was married to the former Angelina Fraccica with whom he would have celebrated 69 years of marriage this coming April.

After high school, he joined the US Army. He trained and worked as a Police Officer. He later was a business owner of a local textile company and owner of Jim Jam Blouse Mill, formerly the Carriage House; and General Manager for Service Electric, and owner of DJ Cable.

Daniel interviewed Mohammed Ali and Hubert Humphrey. He loved to play sports including golf, baseball, and softball where he played in the Police League and the Industrial League. He enjoyed playing music, preferably string instruments; and spending time in the vegetable garden.

Daniel was active in the Democratic Party. He was a member of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, and Mahoning Valley Country Club. In addition to his wife, Daniel is survived by a son Peter D. Notaro and wife Starr of PA; daughters Danielle Notaro of PA, Catherine Notaro Schweitzer and partner Michael Keating of FL; sisters Mary Saracini of NV, Claire Dunwoody of CA, Stella Ziegenhorn and husband Walter of PA; a brother Thomas Notaro of NV; grandchildren Peter, Ryan, Kylee, Evan, Ashley; great-grandchildren Logan, Olivia, Mollie, and Liam.

Calling hours will be held on Friday from 10:00 am to 12:00 noon in Morello Funeral Home, Inc., 3720 Nicholas Street, Easton, PA (Palmer Twp). A Funeral Service will be held on Friday at 12:00 noon in the funeral home. Interment will be in Northampton Memorial Shrine, Palmer Twp.
