MCNUTT—Mr. Daniel Owen McNutt, Sr., age 80 of Pomona Park, FL passed away on January 6, 2019. He was born March 31, 1938 in Nashville, TN, the son of Clarence McNutt and Mary Owen McNutt. Dan was employed by Eastern Air Lines from 1960 to 1991, and he later retired from International Total Services in 2002 as Vice President of Marketing.

He was dedicated to his church, Holy Comforter Episcopal Church in Crescent City where he served on the Vestry, in the position of both Junior and Senior Warden, and served as church Treasurer until his death. Dan was passionate about his volunteer work at the South Putnam Christian Service Center in Crescent City, FL where he did everything he could to help provide food for the needy. He is survived by his loving wife Laurice (Laurie) E. McNutt, daughters Deborah Ingram (Craig) and Taya Shipman (Les), sons Daniel O. McNutt, Jr. (Kathy) and Robert W. McNutt (Diane), 12 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.

Funeral services in celebration of his life will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday January 12, 2019 in the chapel of Jacksonville Memory Gardens Funeral Home, 111 Blanding Blvd. , Orange Park, FL with Fr. Tim Thomas of Holy Comforter Episcopal Church officiating.

Dan will be laid to rest in the Garden of the Good Shepherd at Jacksonville Memory Gardens. Family members will greet friends on Saturday afternoon from 12:30 PM until the hour of service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers please make contributions to the South Putnam Christian Service Center, P.O. Box 744, Crescent City, FL.
