PHELPS—Mr. Lawrence Paul “Larry” Phelps, age 73 of Middleburg, FL passed away December 31, 2018. He was born December 16, 1945 in Oneonta, NY, the son of Paul Phelps and Bessie Rifenbark Phelps. Larry is remembered as a kind and loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend who enjoyed hunting and the outdoors, carpentry, his Harley Davidson and time well spent with those he loved.

He is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Diane J. Phelps; his daughter Stacy Phelps; his son Lawrence P. Phelps, II and wife Meegan; his grandson Paul Phelps; sister Becky Barber and husband John, and brother Lewis Phelps; also many other loving family members and friends. He will be deeply missed. A memorial service in celebration of his life will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday January 5, 2018 in the chapel of Jacksonville Memory Gardens Funeral Home, 111 Blanding Blvd.

, Orange Park with Deacon Weldon Thornton officiating. In honoring his wishes, memorialization is by cremation. Family members will greet friends on Saturday morning from 9:30 AM until the hour of service at the funeral home.
