Danny Ray Flowers, 61, died Wednesday, December 26, 2018, at his residence after an illness. Memorial services will be 7:00 PM, Friday, December 28, 2018, at Carolina Funeral Home Chapel, Scranton. The family will receive friends immediately following the service.

Mr. Flowers was born on December 29, 1956 in Florence County, son of the late Cleve Clayton Flowers and Willamenia Miles Flowers. He was a carpenter and roofer and enjoyed fishing. Surviving are his daughters, Misty Miller of Coward and Casey (Bradley) Oxendine of Turbeville; grandchildren, Jessica (Eric) Hopkins, Kayla Miller, Tyler Miller, Haven Oxendine, Layla Oxendine and Carolina Oxendine; great grandchildren, Braelyn Hopkins and Kysen Hopkins; brothers, Cecil Flowers, John Wayne “Johnny” Flowers and Robert (Christy Pilcher) Flowers; sisters, Jeanette (Alton “Bubba”) Yarborough and Debra F. Cole; and a sister-in-law, Hattie L. Flowers.

Mr. Flowers was preceded in death by his brothers, Joel “Joe” Flowers and Larry Mitchell Flowers; and a sister, Judy Faye Norwood.
