Mr. David Allen Poston, 61, husband of Renee Cook Poston, died Sunday, December 30, 2018, at his home, after an illness. Mr. Poston was born in Marion County, on February 4, 1957, son of the late John Patrick Poston and Grace McAllister Poston. Surviving are his wife, Renee Cook Poston; sons, David Bruce Poston and Benjamin Poston; grandchildren, Megan (Michael Cribb) Poston, Rivers Poston, Hannah Poston, Reegan Poston, Ryland Poston, Raeleigh Poston, Rowan Poston, Reid Poston; great grandchild, Brantley Cribb; siblings, Rose (Johnny) Owens and Wayne (Sherry) Poston.

Mr. Poston was preceded in death by a grandson, Reice Poston, siblings, John (Nancy) Poston, Paul (Wanda) Poston, Earl Poston, Lewis (Susie) Poston, and Terry (Anne) Poston. A Celebration of Life will be 3:00 PM, Wednesday, January 2, 2019, at Liberty Southern Christian Church, Hemingway. The family will receive friends from 2:00 – 3:00 PM, Wednesday, January 2, 2019, at the church prior to the service.
