David C. Croy December 18, 1958 – April 27, 2018 David C. Croy, 59, LaPorte, Indiana, passed away Friday, April 27, 2018 at 6:35 pm in Franciscan Health – Michigan City. A celebration of life gathering will be from 1:00 pm – 4:00 pm Saturday, May 12, 2018 at the D.A.V. Pavilion, 2301 Ohio St., Michigan City, IN. The Ott/Haverstock Funeral Chapel, Michigan City, IN is handling arrangements.

He was born December 18, 1958 in LaPorte, Indiana to the late James and Rose Mary (Evans) Croy. Surviving are three sisters, Jean Mondt, Patricia Croy and JoAnn Wood, all of LaPorte, IN; and several nieces and nephews. He was also preceded in death by his brother, Thomas Croy.

David worked as a bridge tender at the Franklin Street Bridge in Michigan City, IN. He was an active arborist and landscaper and enjoyed playing pool.
