Shellhammer, 57, of Allentown, died Thursday, January 17, 2019 at Lehigh Valley Hospital – Cedar Crest. Born in Allentown, February 23, 1961, David was the son of Gary R. and Phyllis S. (Schoch) Shellhammer with whom he resided. He was a 1979 graduate of Parkland High School.

David was formerly employed as an independent contractor for Eagle Snacks, Lance Crackers and Pepperidge Farm products. He was a member of the United Church of Christ congregation of Cedar Union Church, (Cetronia) Allentown. Survivors: In addition to his parents; sisters, Sandra A. Shellhammer of Breinigsville, Cathy A. wife of John Gregoris III of Bethlehem, Jill A. wife of Michael Fraser of Breinigsville; nieces and nephew, Nikole, John Michael IV, and Sarah.

Service: A memorial service will be held 7:30 pm. Tuesday, January 22, 2019 at Cedar Union Church, 3419 Broadway, (Cetronia) Allentown with the Rev. Candi L. Cain-Borgman officiating.

Family and friends may pay their respects from 6:30 – 7:30 pm. Tuesday in the church. The Heintzelman Funeral Home, Inc. in Schnecksville is in charge of arrangements.
