Obituary for David J. Brown 65 passed away April 30, 2018 after a lengthy battle with several illnesses. He was a graduate of Trinity High School and Midway College, a Veteran of the United States Air Force, and General Manager of Body Operations at Toyota Motor Manufacturing retiring after 27 years. He was a lifelong member of the Catholic Church and had two passions in his life, bass fishing and spending time with his grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his father, John Brown. He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Leathea Eads Brown; sons, David R. and Michael Brown (Andrea); grandchildren, Landon, Jackson, Kaitlyn, Ethan, and a 5th grandchild on the way; mother, Alma Kelty Brown; sister, Denise Day; brothers, Matt and Tim Brown; and special aunt and uncle Jack and Jean Kelty. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated 10am Monday May 7, 2018 at St. Patrick Catholic Church 1000 N. Beckley Woods Rd with burial to follow at Cave Hill Cemetery.

Visitation will be 2-7pm Sunday May 6, 2018 at Ratterman Brothers Funeral Home East Louisville 12900 Shelbyville Rd. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the National Kidney Foundation Louisville Office or the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society Kentucky and South Indiana Chapter.
