Obituary for Viola Maurine Walker Walker, Viola Maurine, 95, passed away peacefully Sunday, June 17, 2018 with her daughter’s by her side. She was a faith filled Christian, formally a medical secretary and an administrative secretary in Insurance. Maurine sang 36 years in church choirs and taught Sunday school for 38 years.

She was an avid gardener and china painter. She is preceded in death by her husband of 72 years Richard Walker and her brothers, Bob and Gene Morriss. She is survived by her daughters, Coleen “Chip” (Robert) Lucas and Nancy (Mark) Van Der Puy; grandchildren, Tammy (Allen) Luckett, Terry (Jim) Gruny, Wendy (Patrick) Robertson, Joshua (Sarah) Van Der Puy and Jessie (Will) Dodds; great grandchildren, Matt, Megan, Jake, Lucas, Alex, Adam, Walker , Leah and Miles ; great great grandchildren, Jackson, Reese, Cayson and Noah.

Her celebration of life memorial service will be Thursday, June 21, 2018, 5:30 p.m. at Ratterman Keenan Southwest Chapel, 4832 Cane Run Road. Visitation will be from 3 p.m. until service time. Expression of sympathy may be made to the Gary Sinese Foundation, P.O. Box 50008, Studio City, CA 91614.
