Obituary for Elizabeth “Libby” Bruce Elizabeth “Libby” Tucker Bruce, passed away on June 23, 2018. Libby was born to A. Clyde Tucker and Mary E. Tucker on November 29, 1924 in Lexington, KY. Libby and her husband Ken were long-standing members of the Cathedral of the Assumption.

Libby was preceded in death by Ken, her parents, her sister Geraldine Dicken and her brother William Tucker. Libby and Ken enjoyed traveling. She was an avid UK fan.

Libby exemplified true southern charm and hospitality. Her home-cooked meals brought smiles and enjoyment to all her guests. Libby is survived by her children: Ken (Jose’ Gomez), George (Sharon), John, Ernie, Mary Ruckriegel (Jim), Pat (Mary); brother Jack Tucker (Sib), grandchildren Joe Bruce, Anthea Lewis (Joe), Daniel Bruce, Vincent Bruce, Sarah Bruce, Sean Bruce (Kelli), Emily Bruce and Bruce Ruckriegel; great grandchildren: Jonathan, Jaxon and Heidi Lewis, along with numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from 2:00 to 8:00 Thursday at Ratterman Brothers, 12900 Shelbyville Road. Her funeral mass will be held 10:00 a.m. Friday at the Cathedral of the Assumption, 433 S. 5th Street. Burial immediately following the ceremony at Calvary Cemetery.
