Obituary for Judith “Judy” Chesser (Pfeister) Chesser, Judy Age 75, of West Chester, Ohio passed away Sunday, April 29, 2018. She was born on January 22, 1943 to the late George, Sr. and Ellie Pfeister. She was a loving mother and touched the lives of many.

Judy’s devotion to her family and friends, selflessness, and her sense of humor were her hallmark traits. She loved working at Vista Verde Golf Course and, most importantly, spending time with her granddaughter, Ella. She touched the lives of many with her caring ways and will be missed by all who knew her.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, George Pfeister, Jr., and Bobby Pfeister. She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Lonnie Chesser; daughter, Jennifer McGrath (Brandon); brother, Billy Pfeister; and one granddaughter, Ella Ann McGrath, who was named after her grandmother and great grandmother. Funeral services will be at 10:00 AM on Friday, May 4, 2018 at Highlands Funeral Home, 3331 Taylorsville Rd.

Louisville, KY 40205. With burial to follow at Cave Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 – 8 PM on Thursday at Highlands Funeral Home.

Expressions of sympathy may be made to The Military Order of the Purple Heart #146, or the Vietnam Veterans of America #454. Contribution envelopes will be available at Highlands Funeral Home.
