David L. Bostick, 71, of Moline, passed away Sunday, May 27, 2018, at home. David was the first-born child to James and Juanita Bostick on December 5, 1946, in Indianapolis, Indiana. David grew up in Indianapolis and moved to the Quad City area in 1974 with his first wife and daughter.

David worked for the City of East Moline as a Water Treatment plan operator for 41 years. David loved his family and knew no strangers. For those who knew and loved him, he was a kind man who tried to show it to others.

David leaves behind of 35 years, Yvonne Williams, and children; Carolyn Bostick (Moline); David Jr. (Amanda) Bostick, Rock Island; Damien Bostick, Rock Island; Shayla Bostick, Moline; Step-son Titus Williams, TX; grandchildren: Makayla, Kiari, Mya, Asia, and Deonte; brothers (and sisters-in-law) Jimmy (Marcy) Bostick, TX; Ralph (Joyce), FL; sisters Wanda Collins, IN; Bonnie Morgan, IN; Leila Crawford, IN; Marilyn Culpepper, IN; Amy Jackson, AR; Cindy Clay, OK; and a host of other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Christine Brown. The family would like to thank all of those who have showed their love and support through this difficult time.

David will be greatly missed.
