Obituary for David Michael Mains David Michael Mains, 68, of Winfield, passed away December 20, 2018. He was born June 2, 1950 to the late Keevil and Frances Mains in Charleston. David was a loving father and a friend to many.

He formerly worked at Jones and Brown, Peerless Block and Rite Aid and also had attended Winfield Baptist Church. He loved to watch Charles Stanley most Sunday mornings. He loved and supported his sons through their Air Force careers.

He enjoyed watching and supporting WVU and Marshall sports. He also had a passion for cooking. He is survived by loving sons, Shane Mains (Tracey) of Hurricane and Shawn Mains (Laura) of Bridgeport; sister, Debbie Tincher (David) of Winfield; ex-wife and good friend, Carolyn Mains; grandchildren, Devon and Remi; and many other extended family and friends.

Visitation will be from 3-5 pm, Sunday, December 23, 2018, at Chapman Funeral Home, Winfield. The memorial service will follow at 5:00 pm, with Pastor Ellis Conley officiating. All family, friends, and acquaintances are invited to celebrate David’s life.
