Obituary for Gloria Walton Hill Gloria Walton Hill, 92, of Hurricane passed away peacefully in her sleep on Sunday, December 16, 2018 at Bellaire at Devonshire, Scott Depot, WV. Born April 5, 1926 in Bruce, WV (Nicholas County), she was a daughter of the late John E. and Carrie Ann O’Dell Walton. Gloria was also preceded in death by her husband, Roy Titus Hill; daughter, Wanda Faye Karner; sisters, Charlotte L. Ballard, Maxine L. Spainhour, Olive D. Gladwell; brothers, John E. Walton, Lloyd E. Walton.

Surviving are her son, Dr. William Danny Hill, DDS (Susan) of Hurricane; seven grandchildren, and 8 great-grandchildren. Gloria was very devoted to her family. She attended Mount Vernon Baptist Church, Hurricane, where she was a member for over 40 years.

Visitation will be held from 11:30am-1pm Wednesday, December 19, 2018 at Chapman Funeral home in Teays Valley, followed by the funeral service at 1pm with Rev. Mark Addesa officiating. Burial will be at Memory Gardens, Madison, WV.
