Obituary for David Neil Jones DAVID NEIL JONES David Neil Jones passed away suddenly on Tuesday, September 18, 2018. David was born on February 12, 1953 to Horace and Dorothy Jones in Amarillo, Texas. He is preceded in death by his daughter, Meagan, his mother Dorothy, his father Horace, his sister Terry Trandem and his step-brother, Kevin Himes.

David is survived by his wife, Barbara, his brother Mark (Kym) Jones, his brother-in-law, Kenneth Trandem, his step-sister Kiley, his step-daughter Cori Alston (Lorne), grandsons, Sawyer and Mason Alston and Benjamin Avans. He is also survived by his sister-in-law, Shawna St. Hilaire, his brother-in-law, Barry Posterick (Christine), and his nephew, Andrew Posterick. He also left nieces and nephews to love and remember him: Joshua Jones, Ashley Jones, Chelsea Williams, and Haley Williams.

David graduated from Ray High School in Corpus Christi, Texas and attended Texas A& I. He was an avid runner, scuba diver, and scuba instructor. He will be missed by all who knew him and his beautiful personality. A memorial service will be held at Mayes Ward-Dobbins Funeral Home in Marietta, Georgia, on Saturday, October 20, 2018.
