David Robert Brado, 79, of Mifflinburg, formerly of St. Joseph, Michigan, entered into rest at 1:00 p.m., Monday, March 11, 2019, at Rolling Hills Manor, Millmont. He was born July 24, 1939, in St. Joseph, Michigan, a son of the late Robert and Marie (Bittner) Brado. On June 24, 1961, in St. Joseph, Michigan, he married the former Nancy Batchelor, who survives.

David was a 1957 graduate of St. Joseph High School, and attended Western Michigan. He was employed as the Assistant Plant Engineer at Mclouth Steel, Detroit, Michigan, for seventeen years. Surviving in addition to his wife of 57 years, are one daughter and son-in-law, Karen and Greg Allen of Mifflinburg; two sons and one daughter-in-law, William Brado of Michigan, and James and Marci Brado of South Carolina; and six grandchildren, Gillian Allen, Jacob VanderWal, Chadd Brado, Cole Brado, David Brado, Lizzy Brado, and David Policastro; and two great grandchildren, Zander Carp, and Madalyn Policastro.

A memorial service will be conducted at 2 p.m., Thursday, April 11th, at the Mifflinburg United Methodist Church, 279 Market St., Mifflinburg, with Rev. Shirley Cornell, officiating. Memorial gifts may be made to the Mifflinburg Dog Park, 212 S 4th St., Mifflinburg, PA 17844.

Funeral arrangements are by Roupp Funeral Home, Inc., 8594 Old Turnpike Rd. , Mifflinburg.
