David’s Obituary David Reed Julian David Reed, age 65, of Texarkana, Arkansas, died Tuesday, March 5, 2019 in a local hospital. Mr. Reed was born November 8, 2019 in Texarkana, Arkansas and was a lifetime resident of Texarkana. He was a retired truck driver with SRT and formerly drove for U. S. Express and Tango Truck Line.

David was also an avid horse lover. He was preceded in death by step daughter, Tracy Academia, his parents, Lester and Deloris Reed three sisters, and one brother-in-law, Rita Faye Burgess Speaks, Wanda Hopkins, Juanita and Eddie Peavey, two brothers, Richard Reed and Andy Reed. He is survived by his wife, Peggy Reed of Texarkana, Arkansas, one stepson and stepdaughter-in -law, Jonathan and Jaki Parrish of Cabot, Arkansas, two sisters and brothers-in-law, Geraldine and Curtis Moore of Texarkana, Arkansas, Mary and David Brewer of Texarkana, Arkansas, two brothers, Eardie and Linda Reed of Texarkana, Arkansas, Gary and Julie Reed of Livingston, Texas, his mother-in-law and father-in-law, Merle and Gerald Hill of Pine Bluff, Arkansas, sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Lynn and Tim Clark of Bloomburg, Texas, brother-in-law and companion , Terry Hill and Boyce Simons of Newport, Arkansas, and a host of friends and other relatives.

Funeral services will be 2:00 P. M. Friday at Texarkana Funeral Home, Arkansas with Rev. Roy Ford officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 P. M. Memorials may be made to the American Kidney Association or to the Pulmonary Hypertension Association.
