Denise L. Howe June 26, 1956 – January 16, 2019 Sign Guestbook| Send Private Condolences Denise L. Howe, Green Bay, passed away Wednesday, January 16, 2019. She was born on June 26, 1956, in Madison to Donald Burger and Hildegard Sewell. Denise was diagnosed with stage 4 Breast Cancer in September 2013.

She was determined to beat cancer and live a long happy life. Denise loved being a grandma and her grandchildren were her life. She definitely wanted to be around to watch them grow up.

Denise went through 12 rounds of chemo therapy and her prognosis looked good. She went on enjoying life for another four years until we found out in September 2017 that the cancer had metastasized to her brain. Again, she was still determined to beat cancer and live as long as she could.

She put up such a great fight but, in the end, it was time for her to make her way home and be at peace! Denise is survived by her daughter, Hilary Walker; grandchildren, Carter and Skyler; sister, Darlene (Dale) Hoepner; brother, Dale (Sandy) Burger; nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; and brother, Darwin Burger.
