Denise Leann Snider, 42, of Connersville passed away Sunday morning, July 8, 2018, at I.U. Health – Methodist Hospital, Indianapolis following a motor vehicle accident earlier that morning in Connersville. One of four children of Duane and Claudia Turner Couch, Denise was born in Connersville on February 21, 1976. Along with her family, Denise was raised in Blooming Grove Baptist Church, and she attended Franklin County Schools.

Denise had worked at several local industries including Stant, Wayzata, and Hill-Rom. Her passion was health care, which she fulfilled as an EMT through Rush County EMS. She also spent several years working at Rush County Hospital and in private home health care.

Denise was currently employed as a medical clerk at Fayette Regional Health System. In her leisure time, Denise enjoyed rafting, kayaking, fishing and spending time with her sons and her family. Besides her mother, Claudia Couch of Connersville, survivors include two sons, Chandler Gene Shepler and Layton James Snider, both of Connersville; three sisters, Tracy Lynn (Art) Pollitt, Kelley S. (Tim) Bunch, and Alyssia Grace “Izzy” Couch, all of Connersville.

She was blessed with many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. Denise was preceded in death by her father, Duane Couch; a daughter, Jessendra Shepler; paternal grandparents, William and Cassie Couch; maternal grandparents, Ellis and Lena Turner; and a brother-in-law, Clinton Weston. Family and friends may call from 4:00 p.m. until the time of service at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 12, 2018, at Miller, Moster, Robbins Funeral Home.

Reverend Freddie Helton will officiate. Following cremation, Denise will be buried in Laurel North Cemetery. Online condolences may be made anytime at millermosterrobbins.com.
