Diana S. Crawford, 71, of North Vernon, passed away at 11:34 a.m. on Thursday, July 5, 2018, at her residence. Cremation has been requested and no services are planned. Arrangements have been entrusted to Sawyer-Pickett Funeral & Cremation Service.

Born June 14, 1947, in Knoxville, TN, Diana was the daughter of Herman Weaver and Ruby LaRue Clevenger. She married Darrell Wayne Crawford on March 8, 1969 and he preceded her in death on February 18, 2011. She had earned associate degrees in the accounting and nursing fields.

Diana was retired from Crawford and Pierce Truck Repair as an accountant as well as C & C Works Woodcrafting. She enjoyed painting and reading. Diana is survived by three daughters, Rebecca (Donald) Davis of North Carolina, Jennifer (Jason Kronemier) Eddy of North Vernon and Beth (Dennis) Wilhelm of North Vernon; two step-daughters, Deanna Ray of IL and Wanda Brandlein of Indianapolis; four brothers, David (June) Weaver of TN, Paul (Linda) and Tim Weaver of Mooresville and Harley (Sandi) Clevenger of Mooresville; 16 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband and a brother, Lee Weaver. Memorials may be made through the funeral home to Komen for the Cure.
