William E. Graham, 73, of Scipio, passed away at 11:38 p.m. on Tuesday, September 25, 2018, at IU Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis. A funeral will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 3, 2018, at Sawyer-Pickett Funeral & Cremation Service. Visitation will be held Tuesday, October 2nd, from 4:00-8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Burial will be in Scipio Cemetery with military graveside honors. Born July 7, 1945, in Cave City, KY, William was the son of Lawrence and Mary Franklin Graham. He married Sandra Robbins on October 23, 1970 in Vernon.

She survives. William (Bill) served in the U. S. Army from 1965-67. He retired from Columbus Engineering.

He enjoyed woodworking, building furniture, puzzles, fishing, mechanic work, riding his lawn mower, music and playing the Dobro, telling stories and being with his grandsons. He is survived by his wife, Sandra Graham of Scipio; daughter, Natalie (Keith) Messer of Westport; grandsons, Wyatt and Saban Messer of Westport; brothers, Kenneth Graham of Elizabethtown, Jeff Graham of California and Dale Graham of Columbus; and sister, Elizabeth Miller of Columbus. William was preceded in death by his parents, Lawrence and Mary Graham; and brothers, Wayne, Michael and Gene Graham.

Memorials may be made through the funeral home to St. Mary’s School.
