Diane Adele Paskin, 87, of South Haven, passed away Wednesday, May 30, 2018 at the Bronson Methodist Hospital in Kalamazoo. She was born July 27, 1930 to Sam and Rose (Dervin) Chernoff in Chicago, Illinois. Diane married Dale Paskin on April 2, 1949 at the Drake Hotel in Chicago, Illinois.

Together, Diane and Dale owned and operated Dale’s True Value Hardware in South Haven from 1963 until 1994. She loved art including fashion design, paint, needle point, movies, and books. She also loved to travel.

She is preceded in death along with her parents by her faithful Schnauzer – Perky. Diane is survived by her husband of 69 years – Dale Paskin of South Haven, children – Rhonna Paskin of South Haven, Marc (Sandra) Paskin of Parkland, Florida, and Robin (Lee) Paskin of Aventura, Florida, grandchildren – Taylor (Patrick) Birkholz and Nicholas Paskin, and great granddaughter – Kira Birkholz. Graveside services will be held at 1:00 PM on Friday, June 1, 2018 at the First Hebrew Congregation Cemetery in South Haven with Mr. Lou Price officiating.
