Dino’s Obituary Dino Joseph Pieri, 87, of West Pittston, PA, passed away on March 6, 2019. He went peacefully in his sleep after battling dementia for the last few years. Dino is survived by his loving wife, Dorothy (Rinaldi), whom he shared 55 years of marriage with.

He was the proud father of Deneen (John) Bowlin and Michele (Sid) Small. He was the beloved grandfather of Alexandra, Olivia, and Jake Small and Joshua Bowlin. He enjoyed spending time with them and especially loved supporting them in their sports and activities.

In addition to his parents, Angelo and Alice Pieri, Dino was preceded in death by his sister, Regina Hudock. Dino was a graduate of West Pittston High School’s class of 1950 and retired from Consolidated Cigar Company, McAdoo, PA, in 1996 after 47 years of employment. He was a longtime member of Emanon Country Club, Falls, PA, where he golfed with the same group of friends for over 50 years.

He also enjoyed a weekly game of cards with this same group of men. Dino had a green thumb and loved being in his garden growing tomatoes and vegetables. When he was not outside he could be found in his basement woodshop, fixing and building things.

He liked to say “I can fix anything but a broken heart”. Dino was a quiet man with an easy-going spirit and his family is comforted to know wherever he is, he is watching over them with his ever – friendly smile. Services will be private at the convenience of the family.
