Dolores R. Gornick, age 81,of Wallkill, passed away on Saturday, July 14, 2018 in MidHudson Regional Hospital of Poughkeepsie, NY. Born on January 10, 1937, Bellevue Hospital, Manhattan. Dolores was preceded by her parents Edwin Pfeuffer and Florence (Mrozinski) Pfeuffer, her deceased siblings Edmund Pfeuffer and Florence Pfeuffer.

She was married for 51 years to the late Edward J. Gornick, Sr She is survived by her brothers Willaim (Camille) Pfeuffer, Richard Pfeuffer and John Pfeuffer,… Read More » along with her children Edward Gornick, Jr., Christopher Gornick, Karen Sparaco and Angela Rivera. Her 3 grandchildren Matthew Gornick, Brendan Gornick and Michael Sparaco.

As well as many cousins, nieces (great) and nephews (great). Dolores retired as a nursing assistant at the V.A. Medical Center in Castle Point, NY and from the activities department of Wingate of Ulster Nursing Home, Highland, NY. She was a loving mother, a friend, a sister, aunt “Cookie” and a wonderful person.

She always made people laugh.
