Dolores Ubinger Swartz, 97, of Louisville passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 19, 2019 at Norton Brownsboro Hospital, surrounded by her family. She was born on September 29, 1921, the youngest of 7 children, to Frank Kannapell and Elizabeth Holweck Kannapell. She is preceded in death by her husbands, Albert J. Ubinger, the father of her children, and Al Swartz; her daughter Carol Stevens-Hulse and her great-grandson, Paxton Lee Lowrey.

Dolores is survived by daughters, Joan Solley (Jim), Debra Fiaschetti (Dwain); grandchildren, Dr. Christopher Stevens (Jillian), Chad Stevens (Jill Barnett), Tim Solley (Carey), Alison Hewett (James), Brent A. Fiaschetti (Dani), Jamie Fiaschetti and Renee Lowrey (Lauren). She also leaves to cherish her memory 11 great-grandchildren, Zachary, Emaleigh, Reilly and Conor Stevens, Meg, Ava, Leah and Ben Solley, Georgia Hewett, Camryn Fiaschetti and Ihla Lowrey. Her Funeral Mass will be held at 11 am Wednesday, January 23, 2019 at St. Bernadette Catholic Church, 6500 St. Bernadette Avenue, Prospect.

Visitation will be from 10 am until time of Mass at the church. Ratterman Funeral Home, 3711 Lexington Road, “in St. Matthews” was entrusted with arrangements. Expressions of sympathy may be made to Hosparus Health Louisville.
