Hays (Eberle) born May 22nd, 1928, went home to be with The Lord, and her husband George D. Hays (Duck) of 63 years and her son, George D. Hays, Jr. (Donnie) on January 17th, 2019 at the age of 90. Mary was a graduate of Ursuline Academy. She worked at Stimpson Computing Scale Company and was a Switchboard Operator at Southern Bell Telephone when World War II was declared over.

She devoted her entire life to her family and at the age of 77 went back to work as the receptionist for Shawnee Baptist Church and Northside Christian School from 2005 – 2013. She is also preceded in death by her siblings Patricia (Eberle) Anderson, John Eberle, Robert Eberle, Theodore Eberle, Florence (Eberle) Graber and Jerry Eberle. She is survived by her brother, Charles Eberle and her sister, Nancy (Eberle) Mattingly.

Her daughters, Mary Louise Hays and Don Rita (Hays) Snider (David). Her grandchildren, Daniel Edward Snider, Delanie Louise Snider and Dean Hays Snider. Visitation will be on Sunday, January 20th, 2019 from 2 p.m. til 8 p.m. at Bosse Funeral Home, 1355 Ellison Avenue at Barrett.

A celebration of her life will be on Monday, January 21st, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. with visitation at 10:00 a.m. at Bosse Funeral Home.
