Donal E. Philips, 86 of Ravenna passed away on Monday June 4, 2018 at his residence. Don was born January 4, 1932 in Philippi, West Virginia to the late Ona L. and Ethel L. (Hershman) Phillips and has lived in Ravenna the past 55 years. He was a member of the First Christian Church in Ravenna, the Ravenna Elks , the F&AM Charity Lodge 530 in Deerfield and was a proud supporter of ASPCA.

Survivors include his children Debra (Ken) Parshall, Annette (Robert) Polit, Kimberly (Doug) Woods, his grandchildren Amy (Brent) Harris, Katherine Polit, Laura Tsai, Owen and Mason Prisk, his great grandson Ethan Harris and his special friend Elaine Wimer. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Patricia Phillips on December 30, 2013 and his brother William Ray Phillips. Memorial Calling hours will be 10 AM until time of memorial services at 11:00 AM on Monday June 11, 2018 at the First Christian Church in Ravenna with Pastor Laurie Metzko officiating.

He will be laid to rest with his wife in Barbour Memorial Cemetery in Philippi, West Virginia. The family asks that memorials may be made to the Reed Memorial Library167 East Main St. Ravenna, Ohio 44266. Condolences and memories of Don may be shared with the family at www.
