Don will be remembered as a colorful Renaissance man, whose varied interests ranged from poetry, classical music, and the opera to time outdoors spent hunting and fishing. He was an exceptional cook, and enjoyed preparing meals for the family. He was generous with his quick wit, and didn’t hesitate to offer anyone his own unique brand of advice – usually delivered with a mischievous laugh.
His extraordinary intelligence served him well in the field of mathematics and during his extensive career as an attorney. Retirement meant finding other ways to keep busy, including driving a school bus and the Zamboni at a local ice rink. He greatly enjoyed visits from his many nieces and nephews, which always resulted in much laughter.
Don enjoyed deer hunting with his friend Joe, salmon fishing with his buddy Marty, and his long-time friendship with Raleigh. Don and Joan thank Wisconsin Dialysis East, Peggy Weber, and Heartland Hospice for their great care.
